Early Reunion planned for July 31- August 1, 2009 at Cumberland Falls, KY

Our clan will once again gather on Friday evening July 31 and Saturday August 1 at the DuPont Lodge in Cumberland Falls State Resort Park west of Corbin, KY. A cookout and social 'icebreaker" will be held at the Picnic Area near the Cumberland River in the Cumberland Falls State Park Friday evening from 6 PM until dusk with drinks, burgers, and hot dogs provided. Saturday morning's program will begin with registration at 8 AM, then at 9 a program including a review of last summer's exploration of the Abingdon, Virginia area where many of the Allied Families who accompanied the Earlys into Kentucky were very prominent. Lunch will follow in the Private Dining room. Important decisions regarding the direction of future family efforts will also be considered after lunch. Tours of the local cemeteries where Early ancestors are buried will take place later in the afternoon. Plan to be there!
